  1. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year Bahja

I hope you have been enjoying your summer break and have been getting a lot of sun and rest! I am so excited to be back to work to be reading your blog posts!

I really enjoyed reading your blog post today! Thank you for sharing about your culture and where your family comes from. I really enjoyed reading what you shared about your culture, how much you love your home country, Africa, and about what the flag of your country means.

I also really like that you have also acknowledged and talked about your religion. Thank you for also highlighting that although you are Muslim, you can be friends with anyone not just Muslims.

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts this summer Bahja,

    Kueni :)

  2. Sedaatahay Bahja, how is your day going so far? I hope you are enjoying the sunshine :)

Thank you for sharing your culture and religion. I really enjoyed reading about where you and your family come from, and what languages you speak. I have never visited Africa but I would like to someday. Have you lived in Somalia before or were you born in New Zealand? Do you visit Somalia much?

I would love to know more about what it means to you to be Somali? Does your family have any Somali traditions? What is your favourite Somali meal that is cooked in your household?

I’ve noticed that you haven’t been active in a while, and we really enjoyed reading your posts when you were active. I thought I would just jump on your blog and give you a gentle reminder that the Summer Learning Journey finishes next Friday (24th January) so you have until then to do as many activities as you can. Remember that the more activities you do, the more points you gain and the higher the chance of you winning some really cool prizes!

Happy blogging, I look forward to reading more of your posts :)
    Eliza.
