Ka pai on creating a great game for your family. It sounds like a lot of fun was had. I particularly like how you included ‘kindness’ into your rules. It’s so nice to be complimented and acknowledged when you do things. Would you make any changes if you were to play it again?
It looks like a game that my family would enjoy, although we sometimes get a bit competitive, so maybe I need to think of an alternative to a stick too.
Ka pai for sharing your experience on your blog Bahja.
Ka kite anō,

Kia ora Bahja. What an awesome idea to translate your description into Te Reo Māori. I also like the way you have included some ways of showing respect in your instructions for poi rakau. Do you know how to say left and right in any other languages? Did you play the game?
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Phil
DeleteYes I did play it and right and left in maori is :
